Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a smile, answering questions and providing product recommendations.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain the sales floor, stockrooms, and fitting rooms to ensure a clean and organized appearance.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking merchandise to prevent stockouts.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and operational targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and processing returns.
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to punctuality.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but training is provided.
