Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques and control
- Provide real-time photo and video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed records of walk duration, activities, and pet observations
- Administer basic care as needed (water breaks, waste cleanup, medication reminders)
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
- Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with team members for coverage during peak demand periods
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (if transporting pets)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification for pets or willingness to obtain
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for app-based communication
- Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
- Physical stamina to handle active dogs in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and basic training principles
