Responsibilities
- Provide safe, engaging walks for 3-8 dogs per session using our GPS tracking app
- Administer basic pet care (water refills, treat dispensing) per client instructions
- Document walks with photos/videos via our mobile platform within 2 hours
- Transport dogs to/from vet appointments or daycare (vehicle required)
- Attend monthly virtual training sessions on animal behavior and safety protocols
- Maintain clean equipment and report maintenance needs promptly
- Handle client inquiries via chat within 4 business hours
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean record (for transportation)
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Reliable personal vehicle with pet-safe restraints
- Availability to work weekends/holidays (peak demand periods)
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Basic pet first/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Smartphone with reliable data for app usage
- Residency within 15 miles of Minneapolis city center
