As a Barista at Sacramento Roast & Brew Co., you will be the face of our brand. You will craft high-quality beverages, manage the register with precision, and ensure our customers leave with a smile.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, tea, and specialty coffees.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Operate espresso machines and brewing equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell products and suggest new items to customers to enhance their experience.
- Restock supplies (milk, syrups, pastries) throughout the shift to ensure readiness.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong passion for coffee and a desire to learn about different brewing methods.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
