Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, cold brew, and specialty teas.
- Maintain a pristine coffee station and adhere to strict health and safety standards.
- Operate commercial espresso machines and grinders with precision and speed during peak hours.
- Build genuine relationships with regular customers, learning their preferences and crafting personalized drinks.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking beans, syrups, and dairy products.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, including steam wands, blenders, and serving areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista (1+ years preferred) or a strong demonstrated interest in coffee culture.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory accuracy.
- Food Handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
