Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and sustainable practices
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized recommendations and warm hospitality
- Maintain pristine café environment including sanitation, inventory management, and equipment upkeep
- Collaborate remotely with team on scheduling, inventory tracking, and promotional campaigns
- Participate in virtual training sessions to master new brewing techniques and product knowledge
- Drive digital engagement through social media content creation and online community management
- Support local events and pop-ups to expand our brand presence in the Bay Area
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience with specialty coffee expertise
- Proficiency in espresso machines, pour-over methods, and milk steaming techniques
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to thrive in hybrid work environment
- Strong time management and organizational abilities for remote task coordination
- Knowledge of coffee origins, flavor profiles, and sustainable sourcing practices
- Comfortable using digital tools for scheduling, inventory, and customer engagement
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed for café operations
- Valid food handler certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
