Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using superconducting qubit platforms
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computational frameworks for enterprise-scale deployment
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum Journal
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and collaborate with MIT/Stanford quantum consortia
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum architectures for 2026-era commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry research
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, ACM QCE)
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and error mitigation techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control engineering
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mechanisms and topological qubits
