Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for error correction and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery applications
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum projects
- Secure $2M+ in government and private research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Proficiency in quantum error correction techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Track record of securing federal research grants
