Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to mitigate quantum decoherence and error correction
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing systems
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Develop proprietary quantum software frameworks and SDKs for enterprise clients
- Secure and manage $5M+ in annual R&D grants from government and private entities
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)

- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
