Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex computational challenges
- Optimize quantum circuits on IBM, Rigetti, and IonQ hardware platforms
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Develop error mitigation strategies for near-term quantum systems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Publication record in quantum information science or relevant conferences
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing environments
