Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop quantum software frameworks compatible with emerging hardware
- Collaborate with AI systems to optimize quantum circuit performance and error correction
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at global tech conferences
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and intellectual property
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Partner with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum algorithm design
- Published work in quantum computing or adjacent fields with significant citations
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Familiarity with hybrid quantum-classical workflows and machine learning integration
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
