Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization problems
- Design and execute quantum hardware testing protocols
- Mentor cross-functional team of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Develop quantum-resistant security frameworks for enterprise clients
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum supremacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Track record of securing government research funding
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience leading R&D teams with 10+ members
