Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Develop error-correction protocols for next-generation quantum processors
- Lead experiments with trapped-ion and superconducting qubit systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical machine learning workflows
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Secure $1M+ in government grants for quantum security initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum information theory or condensed matter physics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and control systems
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and quantum supremacy principles
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum projects
