Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures leveraging superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems by 2026
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical and materials science applications
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum programming and hardware principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research with published papers in Nature/Science
- Expertise in Q#, Qiskit, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Proven experience designing cryogenic quantum systems with sub-10mK temperatures
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience leading quantum projects with $1M+ budgets
- Certification in quantum machine learning (IBM Quantum/Google Quantum AI preferred)
