Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Lead quantum system architecture integration with classical computing frameworks
- Collaborate with research teams to prototype quantum-resistant security protocols
- Optimize qubit stability and error correction for commercial scalability
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Document architectures and present findings to executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or advanced algorithm design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in cryptography or machine learning
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed journals
