Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum algorithm optimization frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Create quantum security protocols for next-generation data encryption
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for AI and machine learning
- Develop quantum simulation tools for materials science and drug discovery
- Establish performance benchmarks and scalability metrics for quantum systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and quantum control electronics
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
