Responsibilities
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic systems and hybrid classical-quantum computing frameworks
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead architecture reviews for quantum cloud infrastructure deployments
- Partner with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Create quantum security protocols for financial services and healthcare data
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing best practices
- Present quantum architecture roadmaps to CTOs and engineering VPs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or architecture development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA) and error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure)
- Published research in quantum cryptography or quantum machine learning
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
