Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum error-correction algorithms achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Lead implementation of quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Create quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptography
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in high-performance computing architectures
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and optimization techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
