Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using superconducting qubits and topological designs
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Research quantum machine learning applications for real-world deployment
- Secure patents for novel quantum architectures
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of patent-eligible quantum innovations
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and photonic systems
- Strong background in distributed quantum computing architectures
