Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Research quantum materials and optimize qubit coherence times
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning pipelines
- Present quantum computing roadmap to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit fabrication or photonic quantum systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience securing $1M+ in quantum computing research grants
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum concepts into commercial applications
