Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuit architectures for 100+ qubit systems
- Develop error mitigation protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery applications
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Publish research in IEEE Nature journals and industry whitepapers
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and interns
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control system design
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion qubit systems
- Excellent Python/C++ programming skills
