Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for industrial-scale applications
- Lead architecture of hybrid quantum-classical computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit stability and error correction
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption standards
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum computing integration in enterprise environments
- Mentor junior quantum engineers through research initiatives
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Published research in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical solutions
