Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing hardware and software systems
- Design quantum error correction codes for fault-tolerant operations
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization problems
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype quantum applications
- Secure quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Publish research in leading quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and interns
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum system architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions)
- Strong background in complex mathematical modeling
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
