Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stabilization
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows for Fortune 500 clients
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
- Mentor a team of quantum engineers and research scientists
- Secure patents and publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance metrics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Track record of published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion trap technologies
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
