Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (max 4 per walker)
- Provide basic care: feeding, watering, and waste cleanup
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs for owners
- Adapt walks to dogs' specific needs (temperament, age, energy)
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments when needed
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all outings
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Physical ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Availability for weekday mornings (6AM-10AM)
- Smartphone proficiency for scheduling apps
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Richmond local knowledge preferred
