Responsibilities
- Provide Daily Exercise: Conduct scheduled walks and play sessions to ensure the physical health and mental stimulation of dogs of all sizes and breeds.
- Administer Care: Feed pets according to their specific dietary needs, administer medication (if applicable), and ensure fresh water is always available.
- Maintain Safety: Strictly adhere to leash laws during walks, monitor the environment for hazards, and ensure the safety and security of all animals in your care.
- Client Communication: Provide daily updates to pet parents via text or our mobile app, including photos of their pets and notes on their behavior.
- Home Maintenance: Ensure the home is left tidy, clean up waste immediately, and secure all doors and windows upon departure.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential behavioral issues or health concerns and report them immediately to the management team or pet owner.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in pet care or dog walking is highly preferred but not mandatory; a genuine love for animals is essential.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, trustworthy, and capable of adhering to strict schedules without supervision.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle to transport yourself to client locations.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check to ensure the safety of our clients' homes and pets.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
