Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable walking services for 3-5 dogs per group
- Administer medications and special care instructions as needed
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each pet visit
- Implement positive reinforcement training techniques
- Ensure proper hydration and sun safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app updates
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments
- Report any health or behavioral concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle (SUV/truck preferred)
- Ability to walk 5+ miles daily in various weather conditions
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and breed characteristics
- Exceptional time management and reliability
- Passionate about animal welfare and customer service
