Responsibilities
- Conduct safe and enjoyable 30-60 minute group and solo walks for dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
- Ensure all dogs are properly secured in vehicles and equipped with safety gear before departure.
- Monitor dogs for signs of illness, injury, or distress and report concerns to management immediately.
- Administer prescribed medications and supplements accurately according to owner instructions.
- Maintain accurate logs of feeding times, walk times, and any behavioral observations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and leash laws within the Madison community.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering owner questions and sending daily photo updates.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience with dogs, including knowledge of basic obedience and safety handling.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk on uneven terrain for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
