Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Austin neighborhoods and parks
- Provide attentive care during walks (water, waste cleanup, behavior monitoring)
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app and text updates
- Maintain detailed walk logs and incident reports
- Adapt to different dog temperaments and energy levels
- Attend bi-weekly training sessions and team meetings
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all pets and pedestrians
Qualifications
- Unwavering love for animals and commitment to their welfare
- Reliable transportation and valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to walk 2-4 dogs simultaneously (training provided)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Physical stamina to handle active dogs in Austin heat
- Availability for early morning/evening shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
