Responsibilities
- Lead safe, enjoyable, and well-timed group and solo dog walks for clients in the Buffalo area.
- Monitor pet behavior to ensure safety and prevent aggression or accidents during outings.
- Administer prescribed medications and dietary supplements to dogs under your care.
- Provide basic pet first aid if an emergency occurs while on the job.
- Collect payment and maintain accurate records of services provided via our mobile app.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding pet behavior, health updates, and daily reports.
- Ensure all walking equipment (leashes, bags, vehicles) is clean and in good working order.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance.
- CPR and First Aid certification for animals is highly preferred.
- Previous professional experience in pet sitting or dog walking.
- Strong understanding of dog body language and safety protocols.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Excellent time management skills and punctuality.
- Background check cleared.
