Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously in Miami's urban and beachside areas
- Administer medications and provide specialized care as requested by pet owners
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walks, feeding schedules, and pet behavior
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and dog parks using company vehicles
- Implement positive reinforcement training techniques during walks
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app updates and photos
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for handling diverse dog breeds and sizes
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification required
- Ability to work in Miami's tropical climate and walk 5+ miles daily
- Proficiency with pet care apps (Rover, Wag, etc.)
- Exceptional time management and reliability
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and body language
- Background check clearance mandatory
