Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise 2-4 dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via our mobile app during walks
- Administer basic care (water breaks, waste cleanup) with attention to pet safety
- Adapt walks to dogs' needs (energy levels, weather, breed-specific requirements)
- Maintain detailed activity logs and client communication records
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments when requested
- Attend monthly training sessions on pet first aid and behavior
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking/pet sitting experience
- Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle for pet transport
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong attention to detail and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills and smartphone proficiency
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to safety protocols
