Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups (2-4 dogs)
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior and care activities
- Transport pets to/from vet appointments and grooming sessions
- Ensure all dogs are secure with proper leash/collar handling
- Communicate professionally with pet owners about dog status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 25-30 lbs comfortably
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Basic knowledge of canine body language and safety
- Availability for weekend and early morning shifts
- Background check and drug screening required
