Responsibilities
- Provide safe, attentive walking services for 2-4 dogs per group
- Administer medications and special care as requested by clients
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walks, behavior, and client communications
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and grooming sessions
- Execute structured training protocols during walks when required
- Uphold strict safety standards during all outdoor activities
- Build long-term relationships with pet owners through exceptional service
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
- Proven experience handling large/guardian breeds
- Background check and drug screening required
