Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in designated Buffalo neighborhoods
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our app
- Administer basic care (feeding, hydration, medication if certified)
- Maintain detailed activity logs and health observations
- Transport pets to vet appointments or dog parks as needed
- Ensure all provided equipment is properly maintained and sanitized
- Respond promptly to owner inquiries and schedule changes
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to walk dogs in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be comfortable with large breeds and off-leash handling
