Responsibilities
- Provide safe, on-leash walks for 3-5 dogs per group in designated Pittsburgh neighborhoods
- Administer basic care including hydration, waste removal, and behavioral monitoring
- Utilize provided GPS trackers to document walk routes and duration in real-time
- Maintain detailed digital logs of each dog's behavior, health, and special needs
- Transport dogs in company-provided climate-controlled vehicles when required
- Communicate professionally with pet parents via our mobile app
- Participate in monthly safety and animal handling training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Current Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and clean record
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to work outdoors in various Pittsburgh weather conditions
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Availability for weekend and early morning shifts (5:00-9:00 AM)
