As a Dog Walker with Scottsdale Pawsome Walks, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and happiness of dogs in the Scottsdale community. We pride ourselves on professionalism, punctuality, and the highest standard of care.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled dog walks, ensuring all dogs are exercised safely and securely.
- Administer prescribed medications and supplements to dogs as directed by pet parents.
- Collect and dispose of waste promptly and hygienically during every walk.
- Maintain accurate logs of walk times, distances, and any behavioral observations.
- Ensure dogs are properly hydrated and comfortable before returning them to their homes.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners via our app or phone regarding daily activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional dog walking or pet sitting experience preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Certification in Pet First Aid and CPR is a major plus.
- Strong reliability and punctuality record.
- Ability to work independently in a customer-facing role.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
