Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in designated Baltimore neighborhoods
- Monitor pets for health/behavioral changes and maintain detailed activity logs
- Clean up after pets and ensure public areas remain spotless during walks
- Administer basic care (medication, feeding) as per owner instructions
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app/email updates
- Adhere to strict scheduling and GPS tracking protocols
- Handle emergency situations calmly (e.g., lost pet, injury)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS capability
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk in all weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
