Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash techniques and control
- Provide personalized care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed activity logs and client communication via our mobile app
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build strong relationships with pet parents through regular updates and photos
- Transport clients to/from veterinary appointments or grooming facilities
- Manage scheduling and route optimization for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle with proof of insurance
- Strong physical fitness and ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of dog behavior and breed-specific handling
