Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs of various breeds and sizes
- Provide fresh water and monitor pet well-being during walks
- Clean up pet waste responsibly in public areas
- Administer basic medications when certified
- Maintain detailed walk logs and client communication
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments (as needed)
- Attend monthly training sessions on best practices
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ with valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Physical ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Basic knowledge of canine behavior and safety
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred (we provide training)
- Own smartphone with data plan for reporting
- Local knowledge of Lincoln parks and neighborhoods
