Responsibilities
- Safely walk 2-4 dogs simultaneously using advanced leash handling techniques
- Administer medication and monitor pet health during outings
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via premium client app
- Customize exercise routines based on breed-specific needs
- Maintain immaculate client records and scheduling accuracy
- Transport pets to vet appointments or grooming facilities
- Attend monthly continuing education on pet first aid and behavior
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling experience
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Exceptional communication skills for high-net-worth clientele
- Knowledge of Boston's geography and dog-friendly parks
- Proficiency with pet care scheduling apps
- Background check and references mandatory
