Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in various neighborhoods and parks while maintaining control and ensuring pet comfort
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and playtime as specified by pet owners
- Monitor pets' behavior and health, promptly reporting any concerns
- Maintain detailed logs of services provided and client communication
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions with animals
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Physical ability to handle dogs of various sizes and energy levels
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
