Responsibilities
- Walk and exercise dogs of various breeds and sizes in and around the Tucson area.
- Monitor dogs for any health, behavioral, or safety concerns during walks.
- Feed pets according to specific schedules and dietary requirements provided by owners.
- Ensure all waste is promptly and properly disposed of at every location.
- Administer medication (if applicable) to pets with special needs or requirements.
- Provide basic training commands or tricks if requested by the pet owner.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or concerns to the management team immediately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or animal care is preferred but not required.
- A genuine passion for animals, patience, and a calm demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat safety awareness required).
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional personality.
- Ability to pass a background check and reference check.
