Responsibilities
- Provide safe and enjoyable walks for 1-4 dogs per group using provided equipment
- Monitor pet behavior and health during walks, documenting observations
- Administer basic care (water breaks, medication if certified)
- Maintain strict hygiene protocols with provided waste disposal tools
- Use GPS tracking app to share real-time walk progress with owners
- Transport pets in company-provided vehicles when required
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via our mobile app
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Ability to lift 50lbs and walk 3+ hours daily
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Availability for weekday mornings/afternoons and weekends
- Must pass background check and drug screening
