Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation.
- Adhere to all leash laws and safety protocols during outdoor walks in the Laredo community.
- Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report them immediately to the owner.
- Administer prescribed medications and follow feeding instructions accurately.
- Provide basic obedience commands and behavior correction during walks.
- Maintain a clean and organized schedule to ensure punctual arrivals and departures.
- Ensure the home environment is safe and secure before leaving.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with dogs of various temperaments is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods throughout the day.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Passion for animal welfare and a patient attitude.
- Must be willing to pass a background check and provide professional references.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
