Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (1-4 dogs per group) in designated Charlotte neighborhoods
- Provide attentive care during walks including leash management, hydration breaks, and waste cleanup
- Maintain detailed digital logs of each dog's behavior, exercise duration, and notable observations
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication if certified) at client homes during visits
- Utilize GPS tracking app to document walk routes and ensure punctuality
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via our mobile app for updates and scheduling
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures during all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance
- Ability to lift 25-30 pounds comfortably and walk 3+ miles daily
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills for animal behavior
- Excellent time management and punctuality for scheduled appointments
- Comfortable working outdoors in various Charlotte weather conditions
- Positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening (provided)
- Willingness to complete our free pet first aid certification
