Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs (1-3 at a time) in designated Miami neighborhoods
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet parents via mobile app
- Maintain strict hydration and safety protocols during walks
- Administer basic medications (if certified) and monitor pet health
- Manage scheduling via our proprietary pet-care platform
- Report any behavioral or health concerns promptly
- Clean and maintain pet equipment (leashes, water bowls, etc.)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in Miami's climate for extended periods
- Strong understanding of canine body language and behavior
- Excellent communication skills with pet parents
- Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check and drug screening required
- Must be available weekday mornings/afternoons
