Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using advanced leash control techniques
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor pet health during walks
- Provide detailed digital photo/video updates to pet owners via our app
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and grooming sessions
- Maintain precise service logs and client communication records
- Implement emergency protocols for animal safety incidents
- Attend monthly training on canine behavior and first aid
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional dog handling experience with large/breed-specific dogs
- Valid Nebraska driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional time management and GPS navigation skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Background check and clean driving record required
- Proficiency in pet care technology (apps, scheduling tools)
