Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (1-4 per group) using proper handling techniques
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners during walks
- Maintain detailed logs of walks, feeding times, and pet behavior
- Administer basic medications (if certified) and monitor pet health
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments or grooming sessions
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build strong relationships with pet owners through exceptional communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling/walking experience
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation with adequate space for pet carriers
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills
- Background check and drug testing required
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
