Responsibilities
- Provide Enriching Exercise: Safely walk dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they receive adequate physical activity and mental stimulation.
- Pet Care & Maintenance: Ensure pets are watered and fed according to their schedules; clean up waste immediately to maintain hygiene standards.
- Client Communication: Provide daily updates and photos to pet parents via our mobile app, building trust and rapport.
- Behavioral Support: Observe and report any changes in the pet's behavior or health to the owner or management.
- Equipment Handling: Properly manage walking leashes, harnesses, and transport crates during transit.
- Safety First: Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both the animals and the public.
Qualifications
- Animal Lover: A genuine passion for dogs and a patient, compassionate demeanor.
- Reliability: Ability to arrive on time and maintain a consistent schedule.
- Experience: Prior experience with dog walking or pet sitting is highly preferred but not required due to our paid training program.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk 2+ miles per day and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid ID: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check as per company policy.
